Scotland for Marriage – To raise awareness about the Governments plans to redefine marriage the Christian Institute, CARE for Scotland and the Evangelical Alliance are holding a joint meeting in Smithton on Friday 30th March at 7:30pm.
On Wednesday evening 28th March at 7:30pm we are having our first Easter Community Service. We would love as many as possible to attend and to bring along friends. The Inverness Choral Society will participate, along with others, at this service.
We are delighted that our local primary school children are to attend our “Easter Experience” events during week of 19th March and also 26th-27th March. Each session will be from 9.30am – 11.15am or 1.00pm – 2.45pm. Children from Smithton, Cradlehall, Duncan Forbes and Balloch primary schools will be taking part.
We need lots of support and would be grateful if you could sign the sheet at reception if you are available to help. Alternatively speak to Ali MacDonald.
We hope to have Dr John Nicholls of London City Mission preaching at our Anniversary Service this year, on Sunday the 11th of March.
On Saturday 10th of March we will be having a Supper Evening at 7pm, when John will also be speaking.
Dr Alastair Noble, of the Centre for Intelligent Design, spoke at a joint Youth Fellowship, hosted by Smithton YF.
Release International:- In India, Hindu extremists armed with sticks and clubs attacked 20 Christians in a house near Bangalore last week, the latest in a string of attacks on Christians in Karnataka state in south west India.
Pray that God would bless and protect his people in Karnataka who live under the threat of violence. Pray that the church there will be emboldened to speak up for justice and spread the Gospel.
Dr Alastair Noble, from Cartsbridge Evangelical Church in Glasgow, preached at the evening service on Sunday 29th January. Alastair is director of the Centre for Intelligent Design and also spoke on the subject of Intelligent Design at an after-church fellowship after the evening service.

The congregation will gather for a communion service on Sunday morning (20th November) at 11am.
We will have Rev Peter Humphries from Kinmylies Church of Scotland with us on Friday evening and Rev Calum Iain Macleod from Back, Isle of Lewis on Saturday and Sunday.
