Sunday at Smithton

Are you among the 7 out of 10 Scots that are motivated to go to an event to meet people from your community? This Sunday at Smithton is your chance to come along and meet your community and also hear about the Good News of the Bible! 11am and 6pm are our starting times.

This Sunday we have Chris Davidson – a student at the Edinburgh Theological Seminary – with us for the morning and evening worship services.  In the morning we will be looking together at 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17 with the sermon entitled ‘Standing Firm’ and the evening sermon is called ‘Simple but Hard’ from Mark 10:13-23.

We have two baptisms in a row and this week is number two.  Eve Eglington will be baptised near the end of our morning service and Rev Aonghas Iain Macdonald will be leading this section of the service.

We also have a Holiday Sunday School in the morning for those in pre-school and Primary 1 with singing, games and Bible teaching.

What a chance to meet others and connect with those in the community!
